Peacefully at Bentley Manor, surrounded by the love and care of her family, Gina aged 91 years.

The beloved wife of the late Guiseppe, a dearest mam of Mariella, Anna, Silvana and Anthony. A devoted nanna and great nanna who will be sadly missed and remembered with affection by all who knew her.

Gina's funeral will take place on Wednesday 8th November at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Crewe at 11am followed by burial in Crewe Cemetery.

"You were a mum so very rare, content in her home and always there"

With her family and friends beside her, Pat passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on the 25th October aged 74 years.

The beloved wife of the late John, a much loved mum of Philip and Stuart, also a cherished nan, mother-in-law, and a good friend to many.

Pat was born in 1943 and has lived all her life in Crewe. She met the love of her life, John who she married in 1963. Pat adored her two boys Philip and Stuart, the whole enjoyed many happy holidays in Rhyl or Towyn. After John's death in 1994 the close family pulled together in order to do him proud.

She was the life and the soul, making many life long friends whilst a cleaner at the Pioneers.

Pat also adored her grandchildren and loved being taken to Snugbury's for an ice cream.

Single-minded, dedicated, thoughtful, kind, generous, loving are words best used to describe a lovely lady who will be so sadly missed by all those who knew her.

Her funeral will take place at Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Monday 6th November at 11.20am.

Tired and weary you made no fuss, but tried so hard to stay with us

Peacefully at Minshull Court Nursing Home, surrounded by the loving care of his family, aged 74 years. Loving husband of Christine, devoted dad of Paul and Philip, dearest brother of Eileen and her husband Tony, cherished grandad of Stacey, Dean, Nicolle, and Jordan, also a special great grandad who is loved and remembered with affection every day. David enjoyed holidays in the caravan, where he would go fishing and he would make sure he always got the photographs to prove the size of his catch! He also enjoyed renovating his classic motorbikes and still has a couple today. David will be remembered  by many working at A.K.S Wistaston Road before starting work for British Rail in the machine shop, where he enjoyed many years loyal service. His funeral will take place at Crewe Crematorium Chapel, on Wednesday 25th October at 11.20am. Family flowers only please donations made in memory of David, will be gratefully received for Dementia UK.

Peacefully in the care of Belong Community Care Centre, Florence passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends. The beloved wife of the late Edward, much loved mum to Wendy, David, Alison, Philip, Joan and the late Anne. Also a cherished grandmother and great grandmother who will be so sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends.

Her committal service will take place on Friday 3rd November at 2.00pm in the Crematorium Chapel, Crewe, followed by a thanksgiving service at St Mary's Church, Wistaston at 3pm.

Peacefully in the care of Leighton Hospital, aged 92 years. The loving husband of the late Mary, devoted dad of Mags, Kath and Tom, cherished grandad and great grandad.

Danny was born on Sunday February 1st 1925 in County Roscommon, Ireland and came to England for work, aged 21 years. He met Kate on the boat journey when visiting home and was married in 1950, staying 60 years together. Danny was a dedicated allotment owner and has won prizes for his efforts:

His funeral will take place at St Mary's of the Immaculate Conception, Crewe, on Thursday 19th October at 11.00am, followed by interment. If donations are preferred, they will be gratefully received for the British Heart Foundation.

On Sunday 8th October, Sam passed peacefully away in the care of St Luke's surrounded by the love of his family. The beloved husband of Jackie, much loved dad to Michelle, stepdad to Vicky and Daniel, cherished grandad to Anthony, Callum, Levi, Luke, Billy, Leila, Olly and Lucy. Also a dearest brother to Alan, Ken, Dennis and Pat(Patricia) and a good friend who will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends. Donations are welcome to the incredible work of St Luke's.

Sam was born in Glover Street, Crewe on Sunday 21st December 1941. He was the fourth child of proud parents Lily and Harry. He went to school at Ludford Street where he enjoyed football.  After leaving school he started work in Crewe Works as a storeman. He later became an engineer for BT, a job he spent most of his working life at, retiring at around 50 years of age.

It was at Sainsbury's that he met Jackie while he was working part time and they later married. Sam played Sunday League football and supported Liverpool and Crewe. Sam also liked to play darts. Sam and Jackie had been on lovely cruises and holidays including coach tours to place like "The Cotswolds and the Isle of Wight" His family described him as generous, kind, a thoughtful man who never said a bad word about anyone.

  So sad to hear of the loss of Dear Sam. It was an honour and privilege to have known you, and worked with you Sam. They don't make them like you anymore Sam, no where near. "Not just today but a lifetime through, we will always treasure memories of you"

Christopher John Edge (Chris) was born on 27 February 1954.

Chris died at St. Luke's Hospice on 3rd October 2017, aged 63, after battling mesothelioma.

He was the son of the late Marian and Jack Edge, the much loved husband of Barbara, devoted dad to Beverley and Rachael, treasured brother to Mark and cherished grandad to Isobel, Ewan and Eleanor.

Chris learnt his trade as a cabinet maker at Jackson and Hopkins, Rainbow Street, Crewe, starting his apprenticeship at the age of 15. He later moved on to Crewe Works where he was a joiner for 10 years. Later he was self employed working for various building companies. Then he worked as a site manager for Mulberry Homes and Linden Homes. Following an illness in his early 50's he was forced into early retirement from his chosen trade, however, after recovering he worked part time at B&Q where, due to his wealth of experience, he was the 'go to' person for any diy queries.

He was a man of few words, often sitting quietly in the background, but don't think that he wasn't listening or involved as he very much was and you couldn't get much past him. He was always regarded as such a lovely man, and anyone who knew him would agree that he was a kind, hard working, unassuming man who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

A talented man who could turn his hand to most things and, being an experienced cabinet maker by trade, he loved to make and fit different pieces for family and friends. He was a perfectionist in everything he did, which was reflected in his work, and in his tidiness at home and especially in his garage!

His love of classic bikes was Chris' favourite hobby, he would often disappear into the garage to 'tinker' with his motorbikes. He would go to different shows to display them and won numerous trophies. His favourite bike by far was 'Ada' a BSA C15. In his final days he asked that they were all charged and covered up safely!

Chris' funeral will take place on 13th October at St Michael and All Angels's Church, Crewe Green, at 1pm, followed by cremation at Crewe Crematorium. For further details please call our funeral home.

  Chris will be really missed by all the members of the Cheshire BSA Owners Club where he was an active and respected member for many years. His ability as a bike restorer was recognised when he won the restoration award on several occasions. His contributions to club runs and our meetings will always remain with us. Rest in peace.

"We have always loved you"

On Tuesday 3rd October, in the care of the nursing staff at Leighton Hospital, Mick aged 59 years.

The dear brother of Carol, Sue and Peter.

Michael was born in Darlington Avenue, Crewe on Sunday 6th April 1958.

His first job was in the warehouse at Cee & Cee on Edleston Road Crewe.

He was in his twenties when he was fully diagnosed with mental health problems.

His mum became his main carer until a care team was put in place, as he got older and his needs became more specialised,

as a result Mick was able to live independently for many years with the help of this committed team.

He liked reading and loved watching the history channel on TV. He will be fondly remembered by his

brother Peter and sisters Sue and Carol.

Mick's funeral will take place at 10.40am in Crewe Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday 17th October.

  I would just like to add what everyone close to Mick are saying that he was a lovable person and a really nice guy. I first met Mick at Ludford St school in 1970 and become really good mates approx 12 months later. We stayed really good friends for years and went and did everything together(to be totally honest I could write a book about Mick and I.) but unfortunately my really close mate and myself drifted apart, because of me, and my family commitments and I'm truly sad that I wasn't there for him at the end. RIP MICK

Peacefully on the 30th September at Leighton Hospital after a short illness, George aged 84 years of Crewe.

A much loved husband of Dot, a dear father of Brent and Shirley, Darren and Jane. A treasured brother of Terry and Nina, a devoted granddad of Robert, Sarah, Stephen and Jade also a great-granddad of Sophie and Madeline. George will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all his family and friends.

George's working life has consisted of a train driver and a lorry driver, also as a publican in Salford and Crewe.

His funeral will take place on the 12th October in Crewe Crematorium chapel at 10.40am. Family flowers only please, and any donations in George's memory is for the valuable work of the British Heart Foundation.

  One of my fondest memories of my eldest brother Brian was when he visited me in Canada. We went fishing in Lake Ontario and we caught a 32 lb. salmon. He showed his determination and strength reeling in that salmon. It was a wonderful day we spent together, followed by a wonderful salmon dinner! Rest in peace Brian, you will be missed but will always be in our hearts.

Suddenly at home, Alan passed peacefully away, aged 66 years. The much loved dad of Katie, Laura and Sam. Also a dearest brother to Mandy and Stephen and good friend to all. Alan will will be sadly missed and remembered fondly by a great many.
Also known as "Alfie" to his friends, Alan had worked for over 50 years in the industry of pubs and club entertainment and was known to all for his lovable warmth, kindness and keen sense of humour.
Alan’s funeral will take place on Thursday 12th October at 2.40 pm in Bradwell Crematorium Chapel.
