Community Activities
Kings Heath BID hosted a street festival spanning York Road and Heathfield Road on Sunday 13th September 2015. Entry was free and the festival ran from 11am-8pm. There was plenty to keep the public entertained such as: stages with live bands, an outdoor vintage lounge,fresh locally made food, local business showcase, arts and crafts stalls, traditional fairground rides and entertainment for all ages.
William H Painter had a stall where we were asking people to stop and tell us how they would like to be remembered or take part in our funeral quiz. We had lots of positive feedback and passers by stopping to chat with us. As a Kings Heath based branch we were excited to be involved and will need to start planning how to make our stall even more memorable next year!
