William H. Painter’s Yardley hub has generously donated £135.00 to Birmingham City Mission’s Elderlink Service. Elderlink runs four extended lunch clubs every week which includes a short exercise programme before lunch, informal Christian services fortnightly, general socialising, quizzes, slide shows, crafts, outings and guest speakers.
The lunch club in Acocks Green welcomed Gemma Freeman, Community Business Coordinator with open arms and thanked William H. Painter Funeral Directors for the kind donation. They are unsure yet what they will spend it on but hopefully with the nice weather coming up there might be a few extra day trips on the cards.
