William H. Painter’s Yardley hub has generously donated £135 worth of food to it’s local food bank. The food bank is four churches in Stechford & Yardley North, who have come together to set up this community resource, seeded by the Trussell Trust, and run by a small team. Volunteers from All Saints (Albert Road), Corpus Christi (Lyttelton Road), Stechford Baptist (Victoria Road) and St. Edburgha’s churches and the community, come together each week collecting, processing and distributing foodstuff and food parcels.
Trevor Whitehouse and Gemma Freeman of William H. Painter were invited for a tour of the warehousing facility while delivering the donation. Thank you to everyone who kindly donated and we hope our donation goes a long way towards helping local families in need.
