Slough\u2019s E Sargeant & Son was the main sponsor of The Vishaal Foundation stall at the Slough Windsor & Maidenhead Initiative 2017 (SWAM17) event on Saturday 15th July.
\nThe Vishaal Foundation is a charity that helps relieve the suffering and emotional distress of those who have experienced the loss of an infant or child due to miscarriage, neonatal death or other tragic causes and circumstances.
\nAs Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead comprise some of the most diverse communities outside London in terms of ethnicity, wealth, faith and culture, the SWAM17 event was launched this summer across East Berkshire as a way of bringing communities together to strengthen friendships and promote closer co-operation.
\nOther stalls on the day included Men\u2019s Matters, Meet and Mingle, Domestic Abuse Stops Here, Slough Homeless Our Concern, Scouts and Samaritans.
\nArea Development Manager Mark Clements said: \u201cThe networking opportunities were superb and it was great to meet the Mayor of Slough again. We displayed Life magazine, Choice brochures and talked to those who attended about the support we offer.
